A Reminder: Backing Women Matters

Sometimes solidarity is simply making sure another woman doesn’t have to stand alone

Women backing women is bigger than solidarity.

In believing someone when they speak. Sharing information. Making an introduction. Passing on an opportunity. Speaking up when somebody is being dismissed. Making space for lived experience instead of talking over it.

Not every act of support has to be huge.

Sometimes it is a message saying, I believe you.

Sometimes it is sharing someone’s work, amplifying their voice or standing beside them while they challenge something that isn’t right.

And sometimes it is recognising that another woman’s success, strength or voice does not take anything away from your own.

At M.Y.H, we see again and again what happens when individual experiences connect: people feel less alone, patterns become harder to ignore, and voices that were once dismissed become part of something much bigger.

So, a small reminder today:

Back women. Believe women. Make space for women.

Because when we support one another, we don’t just help each other move forward.

We turn individual voices into something harder to dismiss.

There is power in being heard. There is even more power in making sure others are too.
