Million Women Rise 2026

Women gathering in London to stand together against male violence, in solidarity and resistance

On Saturday, 7 March 2026, women will gather in Central London for the 19th Annual Million Women Rise March and Rally, held on International Women’s Day.

Led and organised by women, Million Women Rise is a long-standing movement calling for an end to all forms of male violence against women and girls - violence that happens every minute of every day, often unseen and unacknowledged.

This is an all-women event. A space for solidarity, remembrance, resistance, and collective strength.

Why this matters

Million Women Rise centres women’s lived realities - from domestic and sexual violence to state-sanctioned harm - and creates space where women can come together without apology, without minimisation, and without being reduced to statistics.

The march is about being seen, being heard, and knowing you are not alone.

Accessibility and care

  • An access bus will travel the full march route to Trafalgar Square

  • Stewards will be present throughout

  • BSL interpreters at the rally

  • Children are welcome

  • Clear information will be shared ahead of the day

If attending feels overwhelming

You are not expected to do this alone.

If the idea of attending feels emotionally heavy, physically tiring, or just a lot - M.Y.H would love to organise a small group so we can:

  • Arrive together

  • Walk together

  • Take breaks when needed

  • Look out for one another

There is no “right” way to show up. Standing at the edge, walking part of the route, or simply being present is enough.

You Don’t Have to Go Alone

If you’d like to be part of a Make Yourself Heard group for the march - quietly supported, pressure-free - let us know. We’ll organise connection points closer to the date. Drop us a message to express interest.

We rise together. At our own pace. With care.
