Collective Voices
Our First M.Y.H Zine Is Coming Soon
We’re excited to share that the first Make Yourself Heard zine, Collective Voices, will be launching soon.
Created following our International Women’s Day Give to Gain gathering with the Victims’ Commissioner for England and Wales, Collective Voices brings together reflections from survivors, campaigners and advocates. Through a series of simple but powerful prompts, contributors explore themes including justice, resilience, healing, community, hope and change.
At its heart, the zine is about ensuring lived experience is not only heard but valued. Every contribution is shared in the contributor’s own words, creating an honest and powerful collection of perspectives from people who have navigated harm, systems, recovery and activism.
Alongside making the zine available to purchase on our website, we will also send copies to MPs, policymakers, and criminal justice agencies, including the CPS and the Metropolitan Police. Our hope is that these reflections help inform conversations, challenge assumptions and keep lived experience at the centre of discussions about justice and reform.
Any proceeds will help support the ongoing work of Make Yourself Heard and create more opportunities for people to share their stories, experiences and ideas for change.
We’ll be sharing more details, including how to order your copy, very soon. Because when people are given the space to speak, others have the opportunity to listen, learn and act.
