Young Voices, Big Impact
A new Attorney General’s Office initiative is putting young creators and changemakers front and centre
A new opportunity has been launched for young people aged 18–25 to help shape how the UK understands and discusses the rule of law. The Attorney General’s Office has opened applications for its first Youth Ambassadors Programme (YAP) - a six-month initiative putting young voices at the centre of public legal education.
Youth Ambassadors will co-design a national communications campaign, take part in expert-led workshops, and visit key legal and political institutions while working alongside the Law Officers. No formal qualifications are required, and applicants from all backgrounds - especially creatives, community organisers, campaigners and young storytellers - are encouraged to apply.
The programme runs from January to June 2026, offers a £200 participation grant, and aims to build a community of young leaders who can communicate why the rule of law matters in everyday life.
Applications are open until 30 November.
It’s encouraging to see a programme that not only targets younger audiences but actively hands them the tools to drive the conversation themselves
